About the company

Matrix Cooling was incorporated in 2003 as the exclusive licensee for Hamon Thermal Europe (Belgium) in Malaysia and Singapore, providing EPCC (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning) turnkey cooling tower solutions for power plant, refinery, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and fertilizer clients across Southeast Asia.

Role & Responsibilities

Reported to the Managing Director as Senior Engineer level.

  • Project planning and scheduling, detail engineering design for cooling towers, testing and commissioning.
  • Familiar with ASME, BS, and PTS specifications.
  • Managed logistics for project material and engineering documentation (MDR, as-built drawings, QA/QC documents).
  • Verified Cooling Tower Inspector.
  • Supervised a plant turnaround at ExxonMobil Jurong Island (Singapore) and delivered the Ethylene Malaysia turnaround 2 days ahead of schedule.
